The reasons I’m conflicted
Loved the retro vibe and newly remodeled bathroom. The pool was inviting and the rooms had unique decor, like a turquoise fridge, which made the stay enjoyable.
The location felt a bit off, being further from downtown, but still felt safe and secure.

updated rooms but rough neighborhood
Clean accommodations made my stay comfortable. The retro design added charm, reminding me of a nostalgic era. Free parking was convenient and saved me some money! The garden view outside my room provided a lovely backdrop that I truly enjoyed.
The area surrounding the motel felt a bit unsafe.

Charming retro vibes await you
The retro atmosphere was an absolute delight! We loved the jazz music by the pool, which took our stay to the next level.
However, the location left much to be desired, making it difficult to walk to nearby dining options.

Fantastic Stay with Modern Amenities
I recently stayed for 2 nights in a King Suite and was pleasantly surprised by how charming and clean the room was. The modern bathroom, huge TV, and fast internet were highlights that made my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Charleston! One area for improvement would be the automatic check-in process, which could be a bit more user-friendly for international travelers.

More on-site staff for assistance would be helpful.

Highly recommend for couples seeking a quirky escape
We loved the retro vibe of the place, especially the pool area with those giant flamingo floats! The owner clearly cares about the details, and it showed in how cozy and clean the room was, complete with a turquoise coffee machine—it felt like we time-traveled back to the 60s! !
It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable for what we got.

I absolutely loved the cute retro style of the king suite and how comfortable the bed was, making my stay truly relaxing. The outdoor swimming pool and sun loungers were perfect for unwinding after a long day. My only small issue was getting limited coffee supplies during my four-night stay—they could definitely stock more! ☕️
